The ski season...

At Forest View, you are only 15 minutes away from two excellent standard ski resorts. Bulgaria's top ski resort, Borovets, is only 15kms away where some of best ski facilities can be found along with plenty of exciting nightlife and apres-ski. In the opposite direction, the smaller resort of Malyovitsa can be found. Malyovitsa is great for family orientated ski groups while offering some very challenging runs for more advanced skiers.

Govedartsi, as well as being the closest village to Malyovitsa with regular public transport to both resorts. Also has its own ski facilities. Just outside the village, is a 3km long ski run with ski lift. With the beautiful surrounding scenery and peaceful atmosphere, it is a great place to enjoy a days skiing.

The summer holidays

In the spring, summer and autumn, enjoy walking tours, climbing, tennis, hiking, horse riding, fishing, bird watching, golf and water sports at the nearby Lake Iskar. Location

Located on a picturesque site near the centre of the popular village of Govedartsi, not only does Forest View have easy access to all facilities but scenic views over the forest covered Rila Mountains. Designed by a Bentley Award nominated architect, the development will feature 38 contemporary apartments with quality facilities making it an ideal mountain retreat.

Forest View will incorporate a mix of the traditional and modern with up to date facilities and traditional Alpine styling to make this a charming get away. Each apartment will have a balcony area or a patio area (ground floor apartments) so that you can sit out with a drink in hand and enjoy the views over the mountains.

Govedartsi village

Govedartsi is the largest village in the Borovets region of the Rila mountains. As such, it is one of the major outgoing excursion points in the region. Hiking, horse riding, skiing and fishing excursions are all arranged from the village. Each year sees the improvement of infra-structure, tourist facilities due to the large amounts of UK buyers investing and owning holiday homes in the village.

The village will benefit greatly from the anticipated 300 Million Euro Super Borovets project that is planned to greatly improve tourist facilities in the area. New ski runs and ski lifts will be built and the size of the existing resort of Borovets is planned to increase greatly.

Govedartsi itself will also have money invested in its ski facilities in the form of the 'Iskorovete' project. Private investors will work with the local Samokvo council to construct more ski runs and another ski lift to meet the demand of increasing amounts of holiday makers in the area. This project is due to start in 2009.
